Bothell Council 6686 has received the Knigts of Columbus Star Councial Award for more than ten years. The 170 Knights in our council donated over 11,000 hours to their community in 2015. The council donated many thousands of dollars to over sixteen worthy charities. This support included the Food For The Needy Program, Coats for Kids, Care for the Sick, Hospital Visits, St. Brendan's School projects, Childrens' Christmas Party, Adult Christmas Party, Dictionaries for Schools, Construction for Disabled Seniors, Adopt Wounded Warriors Families, Christmas Stockings for Active Military Servicemembers and Families, Benefit Auction, Bothell Fourth of July Parade, Salmon Bake, St. Brendan's Picnic, Monthly Pancake Breakfast, Hopelink, Poker Nights, Barbeque Cookoff, Support for Seminarians, Youth Development Sponsorships, New Parishioner Banquets, Church Choir, Blood Donation, St. Brendan School Building Projects, St. Martin de Porres Homeless Shelter, and much more. We have been awarded the Star Service Award for many years for our 40 years of charitable work in our local community, to our beneficiaries in Western Washington, and in other areas in the United States.
Heartbeat for Wounded Warriors - Through the generous support of our council, Heartbeat is able to fund morale-building activities, such as Back in the Saddle Warriors and Scuba Warriors, and joy to the Holiday Season, with Adopt a Family, and Christmas Stockings of gifts, gadgets, and treats.
St. Martin de Porres - Knights in our council provide warm clothing and personal items to homeless men in the downtown Seattle shelter. These men welcome the hope and comfort provided by simple day to day needs given by our council.
Monthly events raising funds for charity -
Fellow Knights donate their time with activities in every month of the year towards funding our many beneficiaries near and far. The dedication of the council is phenomenal, and has been recognized as one of the most active and successful councils in the State of Washington. Bothell Council 6686 has enjoyed forty years of service and commitment. They have touched countless lives with their generosity.
Food for the Needy Program - In twelve months, members of our council have collected 66,414 pounds of food worth $118,000, and logged 1,853 hours driving 9.385 miles.
Coats for Kids - our Christmas party for kids includes free warm winter coats for all.
